Private luxury safari
If you are a group of 8 to 14 people who want your own private luxury safari experience, NYATI Cheetah Camp is the right place. Here you will have your own private safari camp of 500 m2 with private chef, driver and private safari program. Do you dream about "Big 5" safaris or maybe small, exciting tours at your own pace, so the youngest and oldest generation also can join? In NYATI Cheetah Camp you can decide the pace of your safari.
Both the safari program and all meals are included, and if you buy the beverage package in advance, the fridge is filled with various soft drinks and beers, while the bar is filled with wonderful South African wines and spirits. It will also be possible to walk to the main lodge where there is access to the bar, lounge and pool area for those who want more company.
Private pool, barbecue area, panoramic view and chef
The Cheetah Camp is NYATI's most exclusive lodge. It is a self-contained lodge located on NYATI's ground - just a few minutes walking distance from the main lodge, yet secluded enough to offer a private atmosphere. In the camp you have peace, tranquility and privacy. Enjoy life at your private pool area and follow the wildlife from your private furnished terrace from where you have the best panoramic view of the bush and Olifants River. Here you can be together and talk about the safari experiences of the day when you get back to the camp.
Your private chef treats you with culinary experiences prepared with delicate local produce for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even on the safaris. You can definitely look forward to enjoy the South African cuisine. The camp also has a large private "Boma", which is an African barbecue area where your private chef will serve dinner twice a week.
Safari experiences at your own pace with private driver
On all NYATI's safari tours we have included a major safari program that shows what South Africa has to offer. If you have special wishes for your holidays, you can supplement this program from a wide range of optional activities. All your included tours are private, so you can decide how long time you want to be on the tour. Your driver / ranger does everything he can to fulfill your wishes. "Big 5" safari in open jeep? Bush walk? Sunset game drive? Or do you want to try some of the optional activities like a helicopter ride over the bush or playing golf among the wildlife? Upon arrival, you will arrange your own program, which is organized in relation to the included tours and your wishes for optional activities.
NYATI Cheetah Camp is suitable for all ages
The Cheetah Camp is suitable for all ages and is, for example, an obvious choice for a group of friends or a family of several generations celebrating birthday, silver wedding or another anniversary. Children of all ages are welcome. If you are more than 14 people, we can book a part of NYATI Safari Lodge as well, so you can go on a private luxury safari as a group. Facilities
- 2 villas of totally 500 m2 with a total of 14 beds (it takes minimum 8 fully paying guests to rent NYATI Cheetah Camp)
- Cheetah 1: 300 m2 villa suite with three master bedrooms (equivalent to 1½ Olifant Villa Suite 2 - read more about Olifant Villa Suites here)
- Cheetah 2: 200 m2 villa suite with one large bedroom and two smaller bedrooms (equivalent to Olifant Villa Suite 1, 3, 4 & 5)
- Private pool
- Large private furnished terrace with a panoramic view of the bush and Olifants River
- Private Boma (outdoor African barbeque area)
- Large living rooms in both Cheetah Villas with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen
- Five master bedrooms with king-size beds, equipped with two mattresses and two covers
- Two single beds in the sixth bedroom with own covers, pillows etc.
- Private toilet, double sinks as well as indoor and outdoor showers for each room (however, the two smaller bedrooms in the Cheetah Camp have shared indoor bath and toilet, and one master bedroom does not have an outdoor shower)
- Thick towels, bathrobes, hairdryers and various toiletries in the bathroom
- Air condition, ceiling fan, electric blankets and built-in mosquito net
- Safety deposit box, telephone and converter for European electricity plugs

The stay includes all meals prepared by private chef, drinking water from NYATI’s own source and a comprehensive safari program in your own open safari vehicles with private driver/ranger.
As NYATI Cheetah Camp is rented by private groups, it is possible to take children of all ages here. However, please be advised that according to South African law children under the age of 6 must drive in closed vehicles in Kruger National Park and children under the age of 12 are not allowed to go on bush walks for safety reasons.
Airport transfers to/from NYATI
We would love to pick you up and drop you off at your preferred airport.
Just pass on your arrival and departure details to us at the time of your booking, and we will take care of the rest.
